5. Persons other than individuals who can be appointed property and affairs donees

For the purpose of paragraph (a) of the definition of “professional donee” in section 2(1) of the Act, licensed trust companies within the meaning of section 2 of the Trust Companies Act (Cap. 336) are prescribed persons who may be appointed as a donee of a lasting power of attorney in respect of a donor’s property and affairs.
