Service of bankruptcy order
Subregulation 1
Where a bankruptcy order has been made on a bankruptcy application, the applicant (whether a creditor or the bankrupt) must do the following (whichever is applicable) within 7 days after the making of the bankruptcy order:
where the Official Assignee is appointed as the trustee of the bankrupt’s estate — serve a sealed copy of the bankruptcy order on the Official Assignee;
where a trustee in bankruptcy is appointed as the trustee of the bankrupt’s estate — serve a sealed copy of the bankruptcy order on the trustee in bankruptcy and on the Official Assignee.
Subregulation 2
The trustee of the bankrupt’s estate appointed pursuant to a bankruptcy order made on a creditor’s bankruptcy application must serve a sealed copy of the bankruptcy order on the bankrupt.
