Regulation 6
Conditions of pilot‑in‑command class licence
A class licensee by virtue of paragraph 5 may possess, and import and export, any controlled item of the aircraft subject to all the following conditions:
the class licensee discloses, in writing, to a border authority, and within the time delimited in paragraph 2(2) before or upon arriving in Singapore —
the type or description of every controlled item of the aircraft; and
the total number of controlled items of the aircraft according to type or description;
the class licensee takes all reasonable precautions to ensure that no controlled item of the aircraft —
is knowingly or negligently abandoned in Singapore; or
is transferred, or allowed to be transferred, in Singapore to the possession of another person except a permissible custodian;
the class licensee takes all reasonable precautions to ensure that each controlled item of the aircraft is stored or kept according to acceptable storage requirements during the interval between the aircraft arriving in Singapore and then leaving Singapore, so that the controlled item will not be used or handled by a person who is not authorised by or under the Act to possess or handle it during that interval;
the class licensee takes all reasonable precautions to ensure that any controlled item of the aircraft that is a gun is and remains unloaded at all times during the interval mentioned in sub‑paragraph (c);
the class licensee takes all reasonable steps to inform every passenger or member of the crew of the aircraft of the duties of a class licensee under Part 3 before or upon landing in Singapore.
