Regulation 19A

Penalty

Any person who, for the purpose of obtaining for himself or another person —

(a)

a licence under Part IA or II or a permit under Part III; or

(b)

the renewal, variation, transfer or assignment of a licence under Part IA or II or a permit under Part III,knowingly or recklessly furnishes the Committee, the Minister or the Chief Executive (as the case may be) with any information which is false or misleading in a material particular, shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding $5,000 or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 3 months or to both and, in the case of a second or subsequent offence, to a fine not exceeding $50,000 or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 2 years or to both.
