200. Copying broadcasts or cable programmes for educational purposes

If the conditions in subsection (2) are met, it is a permitted use to make a copy of a broadcast or cable programme.

“copy” has the meanings given by the provisions in Subdivision (2) of Division 3 of Part 2;
(2)
The conditions are —
(a)
the copy is made by or on behalf of the body administering an educational institution; and
(b)
the copy is not used except for the purposes of a course of education at that institution.
(3)
A permitted use of a broadcast or cable programme under this section is also a permitted use of a work or protected performance included in the broadcast or programme.
