Director-General to approve use of premises other than for ordinary conduct of school
Subregulation 1
No school premises may be used at any time for purposes other than the ordinary conduct of the school without the prior permission in writing of the Director‑General.
Subregulation 2
Application for such permission must be made at least 14 days before the date for which it is sought.
Subregulation 3
The Director-General may at his or her discretion issue by notice in writing permission for the regular use of school premises by particular bodies and the permission, subject to any restrictions specified in the notice, holds good until cancelled by a further notice in writing.
Subregulation 4
If the Director-General has reasonable cause to believe that the premises of any school are being used by any persons whatever for purposes other than the ordinary conduct of the school without the Director‑General’s permission having been obtained for such use, the Director‑General may enter the premises accompanied by such persons as the Director‑General thinks expedient and take such action as the Director‑General considers necessary to cause the person so offending against this regulation to leave the premises.
