Regulation 41

The supervisor must ensure that all necessary safety precautions are adopted in school workshops and school science laboratories and must modify or extend such precautions as the Director‑General may require.

The principal must ensure that no instruction is given in the use of tools or the operation of machines or in science experiments except by a teacher competent to give the type of instruction concerned.
