Regulation 112

Minister may prohibit importation of textbooks

Subregulation 1

The Minister may by order in the Gazette prohibit the importation of any school textbook the use of which appears to him or her undesirable.

Subregulation 2

Any person who imports, publishes, sells, offers for sale, buys, offers to buy, distributes, supplies, reproduces or without lawful excuse has in the person’s possession any school textbook the importation of which has been prohibited by the Minister or any extract thereof shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding $500 for a first offence or $1,000 for a second or subsequent offence.
