Exits from schools
Subregulation 1
Every school building must have at least 2 independent means of exit.
Subregulation 2
Every storey of a school building which accommodates more than 20 pupils must have 2 staircases of adequate width.
Subregulation 3
The Director-General may at his or her discretion require the enlargement of the existing means of exit or the provision of additional means of exit or additional staircases in a school building.
