Section 7

Dustbins in streets

(1)

The Director-General may —

(a)

cause any number of dustbins or other convenient receptacles in which refuse may be temporarily deposited to be provided and placed in proper and convenient locations in public streets and private streets and in any other places that the Director‑General may think fit; and

(b)

cause vehicles to go round to collect the refuse.

(2)

A person must not deposit, or cause or permit to be deposited any dung, nightsoil, human excreta, industrial waste, stable refuse or garden refuse in any such dustbin or receptacle, except that such garden refuse comprising grass, small twigs and the like as may be reasonably accommodated in those dustbins or receptacles may be placed therein.
