Purpose of Singapore group practice
Subregulation 1
The purpose of a Singapore group practice is to enable the Singapore law practices in the Singapore group practice to come together in mutual cooperation without being partners of each other.
Subregulation 2
Subject to any other written law or rule of law, a Singapore law practice in a Singapore group practice may instruct another Singapore law practice in the Singapore group practice to undertake work entrusted by a client to the instructing Singapore law practice, unless the client gives any written instruction to the contrary.
Subregulation 3
A solicitor in a Singapore law practice in a Singapore group practice may, if the solicitor is a commissioner for oaths or notary public, attest to any document requiring the attestation of any client of another Singapore law practice in the Singapore group practice.
