Regulation 75
Subregulation 1
The following licences and approval are prescribed for the purposes of section 178(2) of the Act:
(a)
Joint Law Venture licence;
(b)
Formal Law Alliance licence;
(c)
foreign law practice licence;
(d)
approval under section 176(1) or (9) of the Act.
Subregulation 2
A Qualifying Foreign Law Practice licence is prescribed for the purposes of section 178(3) of the Act.
Subregulation 3
The provisions of these Rules apply, with the necessary modifications, to an application for the renewal of a Qualifying Foreign Law Practice licence as they apply to an application for any such licence.
