Number and nature of tests
Subregulation 1
The material shall be tested in the transverse direction and one tensile and one cold bend test shall be made from each tube.
Subregulation 2
The tensile test piece may be straightened hot and subsequently annealed with the tube and the bend test piece, and it may be machined to a uniform thickness. Surface defects may be removed from each side of the bending test piece.
