5. Trafficking in controlled drugs
Feedback & supportExcept as authorised by this Act, it shall be an offence for a person, on his or her own behalf or on behalf of any other person, whether or not that other person is in Singapore —
to traffic in a controlled drug;
to offer to traffic in a controlled drug; or
to do or offer to do any act preparatory to or for the purpose of trafficking in a controlled drug.
For the purposes of this Act, a person commits the offence of trafficking in a controlled drug if he or she has in his or her possession that drug for the purpose of trafficking.
controlled drug
“controlled drug” means any substance or product which is for the time being specified in Part 1, 2 or 3 of the First Schedule or anything that contains any such substance or product;
