24. Amendment of appropriate register
Feedback & supportThe Registrar must —
insert in the appropriate register any alteration which may come to the Registrar’s knowledge to any particulars or qualifications of any person registered under this Act;
appropriate register
“appropriate register” means any of the registers mentioned in section 15(1), as appropriate;
correct any error in any entry in the appropriate register; and
remove from the appropriate register the name of any person —
whose name is ordered to be removed under any provision of this Act;
who is deceased;
who has not renewed his or her practising certificate for a continuous period of at least 5 years; or
practising certificate
“practising certificate” means a practising certificate granted under section 23;
who has requested and shown sufficient reason for his or her name to be removed from that appropriate register, unless an inquiry has or proceedings have commenced under Part 6 against that person.
