6. President of Council

The Minister must appoint one of the Council members to be the president of the Council.

“Council” means the Singapore Pharmacy Council established under section 3;

The president serves for such term as the Minister may specify and is eligible for re‑appointment.

The president presides at any meeting of the Council and, in the president’s temporary absence, the Council members present must elect from among themselves one Council member to preside over the meeting.
