9. Chairman

The Minister shall appoint one of the directors to be Chairman of the Board.

“Chairman” means the Chairman appointed by the Minister under section 9;

The Minister may appoint any director to act as temporary Chairman during the temporary absence from Singapore, or during the temporary incapacity owing to illness or otherwise, of the Chairman. [8
