48. Remuneration of election agent

So far as circumstances admit, this Act applies to a claim for his or her remuneration by an election agent and to the payment thereof in like manner as if he or she were any other creditor.

“election agent” means a person named under section 43 by or on behalf of a candidate as his or her agent for an election and includes any candidate acting in his or her capacity of election agent;

If any difference arises respecting the amount of the claim, the claim is a disputed claim within the meaning of this Act, and be dealt with accordingly.
