Section 238
Rules of Court
of Securities and Futures Act 2001
(1)
Rules of Court may be made —
to regulate and prescribe the procedure and practice to be followed in respect of proceedings under Divisions 4 and 5; and
to provide for costs and fees of such proceedings, and for regulating any matter relating to the costs of such proceedings.
(2)
Without limiting subsection (1), Rules of Court may, in relation to proceedings under sections 236, 236K and 236L —
provide for the advertisement of a notice for the filing and proof of claims under those sections;
prescribe the procedure for the filing, proof and hearing of those claims; and
provide for the payment of the costs and fees of an action that has been stayed under section 235(2) or 236J.
