5. Description of Medal
Feedback & supportThe Medal shall be brass-based and silver in colour, and shall be a circle of 35 mm in diameter and 3 mm in thickness.
The obverse side of the Medal shall bear —
the design of the Singapore Armed Forces Joint Staff insigna;
the map showing the Indian Ocean and impact of the earthquake; and
the inscription “Tsunami Relief Operation 2004” at the circumference of the Medal.
The reverse side of the Medal shall bear the inscription “Indian Ocean Tsunami 2004”.
The Medal shall be of the design set out in the Schedule.
Subregulation 1
The Medal shall be brass-based and silver in colour, and shall be a circle of 35 mm in diameter and 3 mm in thickness.
Subregulation 2
The obverse side of the Medal shall bear —
the design of the Singapore Armed Forces Joint Staff insigna;
the map showing the Indian Ocean and impact of the earthquake; and
the inscription “Tsunami Relief Operation 2004” at the circumference of the Medal.

The reverse side of the Medal shall bear the inscription “Indian Ocean Tsunami 2004”.
