8. Nominations for award

Every nomination for the award of a Medal shall be submitted to the Joint Services Committee of the Singapore Armed Forces.

The Joint Services Committee of the Singapore Armed Forces shall submit the nomination for the award of a Medal together with its recommendation to the Armed Forces Council for approval.
