47. Rescue and firefighting at aerodrome

In addition to regulation 36, a certified operator of an aerodrome must ensure that all personnel providing rescue and firefighting services at the aerodrome —

are trained by the Authority or by an aerodrome rescue and firefighting training organisation approved under paragraph 72B(2) of the Air Navigation Order (O 2); and

are designated to be readily available to ride the rescue and firefighting vehicles at the aerodrome.
