Surveillance equipment
Subregulation 1
An AOC holder must equip every relevant aircraft with surveillance equipment that enables the aircraft to operate in accordance with the requirements of the appropriate air traffic services authority.
Subregulation 2
An AOC holder must not operate a relevant aircraft in an area where the appropriate air traffic services authority has specified a required surveillance performance for performance‑based surveillance unless —
the aircraft is equipped with the capability of operating in accordance with the required surveillance performance specification; and
the AOC holder has an approval granted by the Director-General of Civil Aviation under the Air Navigation (98 — Special Operations) Regulations 2018 for that purpose.
