UA pilot licence classes and categories

THIRD SCHEDULERegulation 37(3) and First ScheduleUA pilot licence classes and categoriesClassCategoryAuthorisation Class AAeroplaneThe holder is authorised to operate an unmanned aircraft —

(a)

that is an aeroplane; and

(b)

that has a total mass not exceeding 25 kg. RotorcraftThe holder is authorised to operate an unmanned aircraft —

(a)

that is a rotorcraft; and

(b)

that has a total mass not exceeding 25 kg. Powered‑lift The holder is authorised to operate an unmanned aircraft —

(a)

that is a powered-lift aircraft; and

(b)

that has a total mass not exceeding 25 kg. AirshipThe holder is authorised to operate an unmanned aircraft —

(a)

that is an airship; and

(b)

that has a total mass not exceeding 25 kg.Class BAeroplaneThe holder is authorised to operate an unmanned aircraft —

(a)

that is an aeroplane of a rating specified in the UA pilot licence; and

(b)

that has a total mass exceeding 25 kg. RotorcraftThe holder is authorised to operate an unmanned aircraft —

(a)

that is a rotorcraft of a rating specified in the UA pilot licence; and

(b)

that has a total mass exceeding 25 kg. Powered-liftThe holder is authorised to operate an unmanned aircraft —

(a)

that is a powered-lift aircraft of a rating specified in the UA pilot licence; and

(b)

that has a total mass exceeding 25 kg. AirshipThe holder is authorised to operate an unmanned aircraft —

(a)

that is an airship of a rating specified in the UA pilot licence; and

(b)
