Subregulation 1

The awarding authority under rule 8 may forfeit any Medal awarded to any person under these Rules if he —

(a)

is convicted of any criminal offence;

(b)

is dismissed or removed from any uniformed organisation referred to in rule 6; or

(c)

is guilty of misconduct or disloyalty to Singapore.

Any Medal so forfeited may be restored by the awarding authority at his discretion.

A notice of the forfeiture or restoration of any Medal shall be published in the Orders of the respective uniformed organisations.
