Regulation 3

of Raffles College Provident Scheme (Continuation) Rules

Regulation 3

From and after 8th October 1949, the Scheme shall be construed and administered as if —

(a)

references to the Council of Raffles College were references to the University of Malaya;

(b)

references to a contributor or member were references to a person who was a contributor or member of the Scheme immediately before that date and continues to be a contributor or member;

(c)

references to the Board were references to the Board constituted by rule 4 to administer the Scheme;

(d)

the words “who shall be Colonial Treasurer” appearing in rule 4 of the Scheme had been deleted; and

(e)

the words “who are nominated and empowered to act under section 14 (2) of the Ordinance” in rule 5 of the Scheme had been deleted and the words “appointed by the Board” substituted therefor.
