Duties of authorised high voltage switching engineer upon completion of work
Subregulation 1
Upon completion of any work, the authorised high voltage switching engineer shall ensure that —
all tools, including any temporary local earthing connections, are removed from the premises where the high voltage apparatus is located; and
where the work is carried out by one or more competent persons, every such competent person signs the completion of work portion of the permit-to-work issued to him and returns the permit-to-work to the authorised high voltage switching engineer for cancellation.
Subregulation 2
On receipt of the signed statement of completion of work referred to in paragraph (1)(b) from every competent person appointed to carry out the work, the authorised high voltage switching engineer shall immediately cancel the permit-to-work by specifying the date and time of cancellation in the original and all copies of the permit-to-work.
