Regulation 21
Display of certificate of registration
Subregulation 1
Every registered person shall display the original or a copy of his certificate of registration conspicuously at every place of his practice as an optometrist or an optician, as the case may be.
Subregulation 2
Where a person has had his registration in respect of any practice of optometry or opticianry cancelled or suspended under section 20 of the Act, he shall immediately remove every original or copy of his certificate of registration which had been displayed at each place of his practice as an optometrist or optician.
Subregulation 3
Any person who fails to comply with paragraph (1) or (2) shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding $1,000.
Subregulation 4
A copy of a certificate of registration referred to in this regulation shall be in the same format as the original certificate of registration.
