Regulation 23

Practising certificate

Subregulation 1

An application for a practising certificate or a certified true copy thereof shall be made in such form as the Board may require and shall be accompanied by the appropriate fee specified in the Third Schedule.

Subregulation 2

A practising certificate shall be granted for a period not exceeding 2 years from the date of issue of the practising certificate.

Subregulation 3

The holder of a practising certificate shall display the original or a copy of the practising certificate conspicuously at every place of his practice as an optometrist or an optician, as the case may be.

Subregulation 4

Any person who fails to comply with paragraph (3) shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding $1,000.
