Regulation 102

Maintenance release

Subregulation 1

The operator of a Singapore registered aircraft must not operate the aircraft unless the aircraft has been maintained and released to service with —

(a)

a certificate of release to service issued under the Air Navigation Order; or (b)an equivalent release document.

Subregulation 2

The certificate of release to service, or the equivalent release document, must contain a record of the details of maintenance carried out on the aircraft.

Subregulation 3

The details of maintenance mentioned in paragraph (2) include —

(a)

the basic details of the maintenance performed;

(b)

the date on which the maintenance was completed;

(c)

the identity of the approved maintenance organisation, where applicable; and

(d)

the identity of the person signing the certificate of release or equivalent release document, being a person who is qualified under paragraph 10(4) of the Air Navigation Order to issue a certificate of release to service.
