Regulation 49

Reporting of accidents, incidents and occurrences

The pilot-in-command of a relevant aircraft is responsible for notifying the nearest appropriate authority by the quickest available means of —

(a)

any accident involving the aircraft resulting in serious injury or the death of a person, or substantial damage to the aircraft or property; or

(b)

an emergency landing by the aircraft, as described in regulation 30(3).
