2A. Permitted deposits

For the purposes of the definition of “deposit account” in section 2(1) of the Act, deposits of the following are prescribed as other permitted deposits:

any cheque payable to the casino operator;

any casino cheque payable to the patron;

any traveller’s cheque;

any casino chip;

where the patron is neither a citizen nor permanent resident of Singapore, any amount on credit provided by a casino operator or licensed international market agent to the patron under section 108(7) or (8) of the Act.
