2E. Deposit of cheque accepted by casino operator

If a casino operator accepts a cheque payable to the casino operator or a traveller’s cheque —

for the purpose of crediting the amount representing that cheque to a deposit account under regulation 2B; or

in exchange for the issue of chip purchase vouchers under regulation 2D,the casino operator —

must deposit with an authorised bank the cheque or traveller’s cheque within 5 days after the date it is accepted; and

must not agree to the redemption of the cheque or traveller’s cheque mentioned in paragraph (c) for the purpose of avoiding compliance with that paragraph.
