5. Approval of surveillance plan

A surveillance plan submitted to the Authority for approval in respect of any casino premises shall and the designated site within which those casino premises are located must comprise the following documents:

detailed blueprints or diagrams of the casino premises and the designated site, indicating —

the areas within the casino premises and the designated site to be monitored by the surveillance system (including the areas designated for entry into, and exit out of, the casino premises);

a description of all installations, devices and equipment (whether electronic or otherwise) to be used for the surveillance system;

a description of the activities to be monitored by the surveillance system; and

drawings which map the placement of installations, devices and equipment (whether electronic or otherwise) comprising the surveillance system, in relation to the activities to be monitored;

a description of the procedures for the installation, operation and maintenance of the surveillance system;

a statement by the person in charge of the surveillance system that ––

the surveillance system shown in the surveillance plan satisfies the surveillance system requirements applicable to it; and

the surveillance plan complies with the requirements in these Regulations; and

such other documents as the Authority may, from time to time, require to determine whether the surveillance system satisfies the surveillance system requirements applicable to it.

The Authority shall not approve any surveillance plan for any casino premises and the designated site within which those casino premises are located unless it is of the opinion that the surveillance plan adequately demonstrates that the surveillance system satisfies or will satisfy all the surveillance system requirements applicable to it.

The Authority may —

approve a surveillance plan for any casino premises and the designated site within which those casino premises are located subject to such conditions as it may impose; or

reject the surveillance plan if any part of it does not satisfy any of the surveillance system requirements applicable to it or does not comply with any of the requirements set out in these Regulations.
