Employee of Government to whom Act applies
For the purposes of paragraph (a) of the definition of “employee”, and paragraph (a) of the definition of “employer”, in section 2(1) of the Act, the category, class or description of employees of the Government prescribed to be employees for the purposes of the Act consists of every officer or employee of the Government who —
has with the Government any specified employment dispute concerning any matter specified in items 1 to 12 and 43 of the Second Schedule to the Act and item 3 of the Third Schedule to the Act; and
submits or intends to submit to the Commissioner a mediation request, or lodges or intends to lodge with a tribunal a claim, relating only to that specified employment dispute.
