Permits may be granted subject to conditions
Subregulation 1
The Director‑General may grant a permit subject to conditions specified in the permit and, in particular, the Director‑General may specify a condition in the permit requiring the holder of the permit to cause to be carried out immediate measures to contain and clean up any accidental discharge or spillage of the hazardous or other waste to the standards approved by the Director‑General.
Subregulation 2
The Director‑General may specify in the permit the day on or before which the holder of the permit is to comply with a condition.
