Variation of applications for permits
Subregulation 1
An applicant for a Basel permit or a special permit may, at any time before the Director‑General has decided whether to grant the permit, give the Director‑General a notice stating that the permit application is varied as set out in the notice.
Subregulation 2
The notice must —
be in the form approved by the Director‑General; and
set out, or be accompanied by, any information relating to the variation that is required by the form.
Subregulation 3
If the Director‑General receives a notice under paragraph (1) from the applicant —
the application is to be taken to have been varied in accordance with the notice; and
the application, as varied, is to be taken to have been received by the Director‑General on the day on which the Director‑General received the notice.
