Extraordinary general meeting
Subregulation 1
An extraordinary general meeting of the Union shall be held —
(a)
when the council or the executive committee thinks it necessary;
(b)
if a written application specifying the purpose of the meeting is made to the honorary general secretary by at least 10% of the members of the Union, and such a meeting shall be held within 14 days of the receipt of the application; or
(c)
on the instruction of the president.
Subregulation 2
The notice of an extraordinary general meeting shall be posted on all the Union’s notice boards at least 5 days before the meeting.
Subregulation 3
No matter shall be on the agenda except that for which the extraordinary general meeting has been called.
