Resignation
Subregulation 1
The holder of an office in the Union may tender his resignation, but shall not be deemed to have resigned until his resignation is accepted.
Subregulation 2
A resignation from an office in the Union shall be sent to the honorary general secretary for acceptance by the council.
Subregulation 3
When the resignation of a member of the council or of the executive committee has been accepted, the council shall cause that vacancy to be filled by the management committee of the constituent body from which the member was elected.
Subregulation 4
Any member of a committee of the council, other than the executive committee, who wishes to resign shall hand in his resignation to the executive committee through the secretary of the committee concerned.
Subregulation 5
If the resignation is accepted, the executive committee shall appoint a new member.
