Qualifications
Subregulation 1
No licence shall be granted to any person unless the Authority is satisfied that —
he holds an Industrial Technician Certificate, or a National Technical Certificate Grade 2, issued by the Institute of Technical Education, Singapore, has not less than 3 GCE ‘O’ level passes or holds such other educational qualifications as may be acceptable to the Authority;
he has not less than one year’s relevant practical experience in building construction, building services, civil engineering or structural engineering construction or such other relevant experience for such duration as may be acceptable to the Authority; and
he has successfully completed a course in telecommunication cable detection work approved by the Authority.
Subregulation 2
The Authority may refuse to grant a licence to any person whose licence has previously been cancelled.
