Notification of Commissioner of asbestos-removal work
Subregulation 1
It shall be the duty of an approved asbestos-removal contractor to notify the Commissioner of every asbestos-removal work to be undertaken by the approved asbestos-removal contractor at any workplace at least 7 days before the work is undertaken or such shorter notice period as the Commissioner may specify in any particular case.
Subregulation 2
A notification under paragraph (1) shall be in such form and made in such manner as the Commissioner may require.
Subregulation 3
It shall be the duty of an approved asbestos-removal contractor —
to keep a copy of the notification at the workplace at which the asbestos-removal work is carried out; and
to make the notification available for inspection upon request by any inspector.
