16. Corporate seal

The corporate seal of the Majlis must not be used except in pursuance of a resolution of the Majlis.
Majlis
“Majlis” means the Majlis Ugama Islam, Singapura, constituted and continued under section 3;
The corporate seal of the Majlis must be affixed in the presence of the Chief Executive and 2 members of the Majlis who must sign as witnesses.
Chief Executive
“Chief Executive” means the Chief Executive of the Majlis, and includes any individual acting in that capacity;
The following documents must be executed under the corporate seal of the Majlis:
documents requiring registration under any written law;
documents authorising any person to act for any particular purposes on behalf of the Majlis;
any other documents or classes of documents that the Minister may direct.
