17. Conduct of business

Subject to this Act, all business of the Majlis must be conducted at a meeting thereof regularly convened and by resolution of the majority of those present and entitled to vote.
Majlis
Defined · s 2
“Majlis” means the Majlis Ugama Islam, Singapura, constituted and continued under section 3;

A written resolution signed by all members of the Majlis, unless in any special case or class of cases the President of Singapore otherwise directs, has the same effect as a resolution duly passed under subsection (1).
