Remote base operations
Subregulation 1
If, for any period of at least 14 consecutive days, an AWC holder uses a location which is not —
(a)
the AWC holder’s main base; or
(b)
a sub‑base identified on the aerial work certificate,as a base to carry out its aerial work operations, the AWC holder must designate a person to be responsible for the management of operations at that location (called in this regulation a remote base).
Subregulation 2
An AWC holder’s Operations Manual must include appropriate procedures for operations at a remote base.
