Regulation 4

For the purposes of section 18(1)(a) of the Act, the prescribed qualifications in the respective prescribed allied health professions conferred by an institution of higher learning in Singapore are set out in Division 1 of the corresponding Parts of the First Schedule.

For the purposes of section 18(1)(b) of the Act, the prescribed qualifications in the respective prescribed allied health professions conferred by an institution of higher learning outside Singapore are set out in Division 2 of the corresponding Parts of the First Schedule.

For the purposes of section 18(2) of the Act, the respective examinations that the Council may require a person to undergo and pass for the purpose of satisfying itself that the qualification held by that person is not lower in standing than the qualification prescribed under section 18(1)(a) or (b) of the Act are set out in the corresponding Parts of the Second Schedule.

Unless the Council otherwise allows, a person required to undergo and pass the examination mentioned in paragraph (3) is entitled to only 2 attempts at the examination.
