Credentials Committees
Subregulation 1
The Council must appoint a committee, to be known as the Credentials Committee, for each prescribed allied health profession to advise the Council —
whether an applicant for registration under section 21 of the Act should —
be registered with full, restricted, conditional or temporary registration, as the case may be;
be refused registration; or
be required to undergo and pass an examination under section 19(2) of the Act; and
where applicable, whether the registration should be subject to any condition or restriction.
Subregulation 2
Every Credentials Committee must consist of at least one member of the Council and any number of other persons that the Council may determine.
Subregulation 3
The Council must appoint a member of each Credentials Committee as the Chairperson of that Committee.
Subregulation 4
The members of the Credentials Committee are to hold office for a period of 3 years and are eligible for re‑appointment for further terms not exceeding 3 years each.
