This Act may be cited as the Boundaries and Survey Maps Act.
In this Act, unless there is something repugnant in the subject or context, “owner” means the person for the time being receiving the rack-rent of the lands or premises in connection with which the word is used whether on his own account, or as agent or trustee for any other person, or who would so receive the same if the lands or premises were let at rack-rent.
The President may appoint persons by name or office to carry this Act into effect.
Every person so appointed shall be a public servant within the meaning of the Penal Code [Cap. 224].
