Election to use Valuation method instead of Table of Rates method
of Land Betterment Charge (Table of Rates and Valuation Method) Regulations 2022

For the purpose of section 9(4) of the Act, an election under section 9(3)(a) of the Act for the Valuation method to be so used, in lieu of the Table of Rates method, to ascertain the amount of the land betterment charge in respect of any chargeable consent given in relation to a development or a subdivision of any land (except that mentioned in section 8(2) of the Act) must be made —
(a)
no later than the 7th day after the date the chargeable consent is given; and
(b)
in the form set out in https://www.sla.gov.sg/properties/land-betterment-charge/.
