Regulation 19
Postponement of hearing
Subregulation 1
Subject to section 59A(10) and (11) of the Act, a Disciplinary Tribunal may, on its own motion or upon the application of any party, postpone a hearing at any time.
Subregulation 2
An application for the postponement of a hearing must be made in writing to the chairman of the Disciplinary Tribunal no later than 21 days before the first hearing date, unless the Disciplinary Tribunal allows the application to be made in a shorter period before the commencement of the hearing, and must be supported by good reasons.
