Landing pass
Subregulation 1
A landing pass may be issued by the Controller to any of the following persons who arrives in Singapore and either is an exempted prohibited immigrant or is not any other prohibited immigrant:
a through passenger travelling in any vessel, aircraft, train or bus that arrives in an authorised landing place, authorised airport, authorised train checkpoint or authorised point of entry, as the case may be;
a specified person of a vessel, aircraft, train or bus that has arrived or is due to arrive in any authorised landing place, authorised airport, authorised train checkpoint or authorised point of entry, as the case may be.

Subregulation 2A
Notwithstanding paragraph (1) and regulation 8(1AA), the Controller may, at the time of issuing a landing pass under paragraph (1), specify that the landing pass is valid for any number of entries into Singapore during the period of its validity and subject to such conditions as may be imposed.

Subregulation 4
Every landing pass issued under paragraph (1) shall be subject to the condition that the holder shall not, without a valid work pass issued under the Employment of Foreign Manpower Act 1990, engage in any form of paid employment or in any business, profession or occupation in Singapore (other than as a crew member of the vessel stipulated in the landing pass) during the validity of the landing pass.
